I know it's a mad house throught the industry....... and that is why I feel the need to ask.  I understand I have to wait, I just want to make sure that the order went through and that I'm not waiting for nothing.

I placed a $304.00 order on the 7th of January. Some reloading supplies and tools.  Every item was listed as "in stock".  It has been showing as "PICKING" ever since, and my CC has yet to be charged.  Is this normal for a backlog?  Or did my order get lost in the shuffle.  I'd be willing to reorder if neccessary.

I did...... no reply......

I'm only 1% bitching and 99% concerned that something misfired in the order process and I am waiting for nothing.  I posted here to see if anyone else had the same issue and what the result was, or maybe to get lucky and have someone from Brownells answer.

If that's not ok feel free to have some admin delete.

I would give them a call.  The lines are busy at times but if you call back in a few times you normally get through.

I had the same thing happen. I was told there is a glitch in the system. If you got an order number, it has been placed.
I had two items shown in stock but only was actually was.

Thanks for the heads up....... I'll be on the phone tomorrow...... sons a gltiches...... that's what I was afraid of.....

Spoke with Brownells this mornin.  If someone else finds themselves in a similar situation..... yes the delay is caused by the overwhelming demand at this time and the reason my card was not charged already is due to some hazmat items.  It's moving forward.  Hope this helps someone else out.  FWIW... they sure are nice over the phone!!!
