Back ordered 10 M3 PMAGS today.

I was just wondering if there is an ETA for the PMAGS?

Thanks.

I ordered some yesterday when they were in stock and recieved an email stating that they are now back ordered.  I  had other items like this also. I guess they took orders faster than there inventory count could keep up.  Probably why the website crashed numerous times.

Did you get an estimated time for when the back orders would be filled?

I backordered 10 OD PMAGS last week (Monday). You think OD will be made before Black? NOT.

Curious...........some kind of sick race between the bipolar ban and filling my order.

Interesting. I didn't know the base plastic color had anything to do with strength.

I don't believe colors have any bearing on anything other than personal taste.

You wouldn't think so but magpul themselves have said black is the strongest. So color does factor into it...

Magpul said not only is black stronger, but they will be concentrating on making black mags because it speeds manufacture... no time out for color changes.

It does.  Strength is also the reason that they haven't come out with other colors en masse.  They have tried, and end up with a weaker product.

Here's what Dan at Magpul told me:

The thing to keep in mind is that anything added to the mix (including colorants, UV stabilizers, impact modifiers, fillers, flow modifiers, friction modifiers, plasticizers, etc.) can affect the properties of the base polymer either positively or negatively. This holds true for everything made of plastic.  However, you will not notice any performance differences in the field between any of our colors.
