I was wondering when the new 50k-hour battery power microdots with the rotary power will be shipping. I think there was a "pre-order" on optics planet back in April for the model that I ordered and since it has shown the item as unavailable. Just wondering if there was an ETA. Also wondering if the order at Optics Planet is even going to be valid and if I needed to call and get a refund.
Thanks! |

Will this have the CQB type acss reticle like the Holosun model?

Is there any teaser info floating around on these? I'm interested.

We're talking about the lifetime warranty micro, right? Trying to decide between this and the new 30mm dot.

I dunno but I just literally ordered the Holosun acss. Can't wait to get it.

I asked about this today and got a small but disappointing update. Initial samples of the rotary knob advanced microdot had a minor imperfection but we decided not to move forward until it is addressed. I don't know what this imperfection was, I didn't ask, so don't ask me. LOL
But we won't have them available until the imperfection is addressed, thus, it's delayed. To respond specifically to Full Auto Hound, we've actually had fine luck with the rubber buttons up top. The only thing that has irked some people about them is that if you try to cerakote over them, the cerakote cracks and peels away and looks like crap. I would think that guys would mask off a rubberized area before spraying cerakote anyway? Anyway, there have been no issues with those top buttons breaking or wearing out over time. But, the rotary knob on the new advanced model does feel super nice. :) |

I also heard the push button models have not been able to attain the same level of water proofing. This was one of the main things holding me back. View Quote Unofficially, a coworker tossed his into the deep end of his apartment swimming pool on a Friday morning and dived down to fish it out Sunday afternoon, and it still worked just fine. That's a sample size of one, and a one time test, but it did happen. |

I wouldn't let that hold you back. Officially they are IP 57 rated which, if I recall, is submerged to a depth of 1 meter for 30 minutes. I just need one by mid November to put on my lever action 45-70 so I can get I zeroed for Bear season before the second week of December. Hopefully the problems aren't so big that they aren't ready by then

You guys should sell the ones with imperfections at a discount like you did the old M4 style that had the wrong knob that was installed crooked

Sorry to piggy back on your thread but this is related...
With the new model coming out, will the old model be discounted? |

Something like the HS502C with ACSS would also suit me fine. |

Sorry, swing and a miss there, but your concept has validity for sure.

It's not a pain, it's that even we simply don't have access to valid information that we can pass along and be useful to you guys. It's kinda like the old joke about the USPS package tracking:
July 15, 2017: Package left our facility July 16, 2017: WE HAVE NO CLUE AT ALL July 17, 2017: It's by your front door. Your sketchy neighbor was looking over at it though. Right now we are in the "how long will it take to fix the imperfection and make sure the production optics are done right?" stage. When I hear more, you will too! I'm going to put one on my SBR Krinkov, on an Ultimak rail, so I'm just as antsy as anyone! |

Ok here is the latest. The factory machined about 4,000 bodies wrong. The base does not fit standard Micro mounts. We stopped production once this was caught. We are screwed as now the next production window available to make them right is later in the year.

Yup! On pace for a release soon, first we are releasing one other product (next week I is the plan) and then MD-RB-AD right after. I'll put one on my Bulgarian Krinkov and one on my Mossberg 930.
