Ok PA boys...I need help.
I just built a new stick and want a cqb to medium range optic for it. I live in Michigan so getting a range over 200 yds near me is challenging. I was thinking the 2.5x acss or the Advanced series red dot with a qd flip to side magnifier. I'm not into tacticool...but the idea of a removable magnifier made sense if oing that route. Opinions? |

I really like the 2.5X for that kind of shooting because its very fast at CQB and very accurate further out. Its durable built like a tank, and would be much lighter then having to run a red dot and magnifier. It has a laser etched reticle so no matter what you have a sight picture even if the battery dies. The BDC and auto range are dead on all the way out to 600 yards. Here are a few videos on it https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Etf6Orx63Y https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S0N0Fs0ov1w But like Marshall said please tell us more. Dimitri |

Well...I don't need it for work, so... This one will be my do it all. Range work (stationary up to 200 yds currently), taking a few carbine type classes and rolling a coyote if need be. I currently have one of your red dots on there borrowed from another rifle. (Excuse the mess in the picture...we're in the middle of remodeling and everything is a mess.) http://i1113.photobucket.com/albums/k510/Chris_Klinert/Mobile%20Uploads/20140926_183044.jpg I would go with the 2.5X you can CQB and hunt yet range and engage man size targets out to 600 D |
