For a 14.5" pinned carbine which of these would you suggest? Used to own an aimpoint pro but got rid of it. Love the 2moa dot and absolute cowitness. Besides battery life, do either of the 2 red dots offer anything over the other? Will only be shooting 25 yard indoor range for now.

Nothing really different about them other than the battery life and weight. The MD is going to be about 1/3rd the weight of the advanced red dot.

They do the same thing in use. Put a 2MOA dot on the target. The rest is size, features, mount options, battery type and life.
