Hello everyone. I have a PA 30mm red dot that has seen very, very, little use until this last week's ar class.

We took a 4 day rifle class and shot approx 500-600 rounds through my ar. First 3 days the red dot worked great. Day 4 the red dot started to act up. It would not turn off no matter what the setting and was super dim. I removed the batteries and reinstalled them and it did the same thing. All of the sudden it worked fine. We were shutting it off in between sessions and never left it on for very long.

What's going on with the red dot? Any ideas?

Never heard of that before. I would try a fresh set of batteries or a single CN 1/3 battery. If you have any more problems let me swap it out

I'll try the battery and see what happens.

Played around with it today while cleaning the rifle. It worked great and then got stuck on bright and would not shut off. After a while it worked again.

I'll try and find a battery this week.

I bought a battery and threw it in. Seems to work good. I'll play around with it and we'll see what happens.
