| [Will the PA microdot without the removable base stand up to being mounted on a.41 mag handgun? I have a Dan Wesson .41 that would be perfect with that little dot on it. It will be mounted on the shroud about midway up the barrel? Thanks |
| Anyone? The gun has a heavy shroud 6" barrel and is drilled and tapped for a weaver base. I would put the dot as far back on the shroud as I can, I just wonder about its ability to handle the recoil. Rarely ever shoot hot loads through it. As I tend to hunt bottoms and swamps the quick sight pick up from the Micro Dot would be perfect. The other 3 PA MD's I have are flawless, 2 are on 22 pistols and one on an AR. |
