3x compact scope > Primary Arms

What happened to these I have one on my ak74 . I need one for my old carry handle ar. Are these scopes still being made.

A new 2.5x and 4X with a more advanced reticle will replace them. We are looking at 90 days at least for them to arrive.

I'm betting these will sell like hotcakes. Just out of curiosity, what was the reasoning in choosing 2.5 power?

Ooh, this sounds exactly like what I want for my AK-74 with TWS dogleg. What are the QD mount options?

Oh, and I'm psyched for the 7.62x39 4x, too... mount it right up on my Sig 556R.

Any early estimates as to size and weight in relation to the PAC3X?

If the 2.5X was a little smaller and lighter I for one welcome it!

I should have the final specs soon. We just had to make a few tweaks to the reticle in the last samples of each

I don't think that there was anything wrong with it, just that their ACSS reticle is moar better.

I use the PA 3x compact scope as a mag for a PA 30 mm RD.

The 2.5x looks like it'll be a great optic, and I can wait for it to arrive.

Marsh - any idea on eye relief? The 3x is 3.5''.

Also, will it have a similar reticle to the 3x? That is notches for 300, 400, 500 yards, and just the circle for CQB?

Any pics of either? Will they resemble the current 3x compact scope? I currently run a 3x compact (without rails) on my dedicated .22 AR, and it's pretty awesome!

Will the 556 version hold up to 300blk or should I wait for the 7.62 version?

Primarily for 9" suppressed subsonic 300blk shooting.
And on rare occasions, supersonic nonsuppressed shooting.
Will be using AAC762SDN6 if that matters

Are the 2.5X and the 4X going to use the same body?

Also, any idea of how much weight the illumination adds? Have you ever considered glass etching with a neon green paint fill? Maybe add a coating of phosphor over the top of it so it can be charged to glow at night? It could cut the weight down a bit and might be cheaper to manufacture. A good neon green paint would still be bright enough to shoot heads up in daylight with out illumination.
