Hey marsh, Do you know if the AD screws are the same thread as the PA ones? I have two screws that feel as if they are cross threaded or stripped out the housing  The ADM screws work fine. That is our most popular mount combo. Small screws can't tale a lot of torque. You have to let the thread locker do its job. |

what does this mean? "WE WERE ABLE TO DO ALL OUR NORMAL UPGRADES EXCEPT CHANGE THE LED POSITION." http://www.primaryarms.com/Special_Purchase_Microdot_with_Riser_MD_SP_p/md-sp.htm So the red dot has thread locker so it can'tbe removed from tthe base correct, but still qd from the rifle itself? |

It is a QD AR height riser but you can not remove the riser. The LED is in the 6 O'clock position. Came as our Gen 1 Micros. YOu still have a clear view of the irons but the bottom of the post os covered with the LED. These are a great deal. |

I just talked to cust service about this... you are correct, the sight cannot be removed from the base.
This should be a great sight for a flat top but I'm going to wait on the regular removable base model because I want to mount a micro dot to an A2 carry handle :) BTW, cust. service was very helpful as usual for PA! Quoted:
