[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Am I missing something????

I got my PA 30mm red dot in the mail today. The thing does not work. Tried both sets of batteries and nothing.

Is there a switch or something I'm missing? No dot no matter what setting I use.

I guess I wasn't missing any thing, rather this particular unit is a POS.

I can turn it on and tap the battery housing causing a terribly misshapen red smear to appear. Turning to any other setting causes the "dot" to disappear. Tapping the battery housing turns it back on. No way this thing will hold up to any recoil.

Hope PA can get it taken care of.
