I think if you look back they were originally going to do a 4x but when the factory made it a 3x it was discussed that the next magnification up would be a 5x.
The 3x is a great scope and look forward to future models from primary arms, including the high magnification scope that was discussed as well.

| I bet you that Primary Arms gets these 3x scope from the same factory as Burris they just have to change a few things so it doesn't look the same. Reticle and Mounts on the front to me is the only difference. Take a Look at the scope as they are both made in china with 1 year warranties from both companies. |

Many factories buy the same castings. Does not mean the internals are the same. |
