| Just bought a PA micro dot from EE and I have a question on the brightness. Even turned up to 11 (max) in bright daylight I would say it's just visible. Any less would be a problem. The only thing I have to judge this by is my aim pointpro. Turned to max during the day it's way brighter, to the point the dot blurs. So is this normal? Or would this be a problem with this micro dot? |
| I put a new battery in and it was exactly the same. But like I said I have no point of reference other than my aimpoint pro. Also this is a model md-05. I don't want to say anything is wrong with it. And it's hard to put into words a subjective thing like brightness. I guess what I would like someone to tell me is if the PA should be comparable to an aimpoint brightness. If the answer is yes then I would say there is a problem. And if that's the case I don't know if there is anything PA could do since I am not the original purchaser. Just want to have full disclosure here. |

Just want to have full disclosure here. It won't go as bright as your Aimpoint but should be easily visible in bright daylight use. Does not matter that you bought it used. If you want us to check it out we will make sure it is up to spec or repair . Marshall |
