I was looking at the website and it states that if the M3 is to be used on an AR15 that it has to have a high mount.  If I just want the M3, no magnifier, I'd still have to use the regular non-cant hi mount correct?

The high mount is what you want, that is to get the optic up above the A2 sight post in front for a co-witness.

Canted or non canted is not a factor here, either is fine, but the height over bore does matter.

I have the M3 on an AR right now with the non cant high mount and its a perfect absolute co-witness with the A2 front sight post.
