Marshall,

Do you (or anyone else) have a picture of a M4 red dot with a FTS 3x or 5x mounted on a standard flat top?
I have seen lots of pictures of the M3 with a magnifier but none of the M4.
I am trying to decide if I want to get a magnifier for the M4 I already have or wait on the compact 4x.

Thanks,
E

Thanks for the pic. That is exactly what I was looking for. One question, does the M4 mount hang off the front of the receiver rail. I have a moe hand guard and don't really want to add a quad rail.  If it does hang off the front will it cause a problem maintaining zero.

None of this would have been an issue because I had decided to wait and get a 4x compact with a reflex site but now Marsh has decided to add a 7x magnifier to the list of options. Plus the new 7x is 1/4" shorter than the 5x which may eliminate the rail space issue on the receiver.
Now I don't know what to do.
Looks like I might have to buy the compact and the magnifier. Then all I will need is another AR so I can mount both of them...

The wife is going to kill me but AR's are just as addictive as meth but without the bad teeth.

Just got my M4 RDS and Deluxe 3X Magnifier & mount today from Primary Arms. Really pleased with this setup and eager to hit the range. The magnifier only needed adjustment to the right to center the red dot. Also nice, the red dot co-witnesses with the newer Troy Skirmish Battlesight BUIS that came stock with the LWRC M6A2. The M4 scope, magnifier and mount are really solid and of excellent quality; glass on the scope and magnifier are really clear. Definitely well worth the $228 to get it to my door from Primary Arms. Bottom pic is of the M6A2 with it's little brother, a S&W M&P 15-22.

Yes, the front of the M4 mount is actually bridging the gap between the fore end and receiver, while the flip-aside mount is on the absolute back end of the receiver.  Once the rifle is finally put together for real, the M4 will move forward to make room for a buis behind the 5X.  This system really takes up a bunch of real estate.

Well look at that, you've done what they said was impossible - the M4, magnifier and BUIS all on the rail.

Look closer, if he would have standards handguards on there with a delta ring the setup would not work. The M4 hangs over the upper just slightly.

I think I have my M4 in the same rail slot as he does, as mine overhangs the end of the rail by 1/4" or so (I wanted it as far forward as possible) and it doesn't hit the delta ring at all.
