I have heard that the Aimpoint Comp C3 is basically the same sight as the Comp M3, only it isn't waterproof to the same depths. Is this correct? Marshall, if you are reading this, what is your thought on this sight compared to the M3? I have an M3 and was looking to purchase another Aimpoint in the very near future for a recently completed build and these have really caught my eye. I don't plan on going scuba diving so the shallow waterproof depth of the C3 doesn't bother me, I just want to make sure it's reliable and will work as well as the other Aimpoint optics.
Also, will the same M3 / M2 accessories work on the C3? I have a Larue LT-150 and Aimpoint rubber cover that I would like to use if I buy the C3...but that's only if the accessories are interchangeable. Thanks guys! |

It can not handle the pressure of a M3 but has the 50K hour battery life that you don't get with the ML2. It does not come with flip caps so if that is a big deal factor the price of the price of the caps $36 in. It comes with bikini covers and you see plenty of people take the flips off because they can get in the way. Every bit a reliable as the more expensive Aimpoints. This is our go too LE optic. Awesome! Thanks alot for the replay Marshall, that was exactly what I was hoping to hear. I plan on placing an order with you this Friday as a Christmas present to myself and because PA has the cheapest price on the C3 by nearly $50! I use the bikini covers on my T-1 and certainly don't miss the flip-up covers so they're no big deal to me.
