I read that primary arms was coming out with some handheld flashlights, and was wondering if we could get some more info on them.  I can't find any threads about it.

They are on a ship so it won't be long.

Do you have any plans for a weapon light that is smaller than the current incarnation? I am highly interested in the ones you have, but they seem pretty massive!

They are in LA waiting for customs to clear. Once that happens it take two days to get here.

Marsh, I noticed your new handheld is in. Nice looking light for $30. Do you have any specs available for it yet?

How many LED's are in this and is the switch in the tail cap? Adapters for weapon mounting info would be good, too.  Thanks

Doesn't look like it has momentary on if I am reading correctly, is that right Marsh?
Just click on/off?

Any idea on battery life? Is there a different handheld coming out, maybe with AAA or AA batteries?  Is it a CREE LED?  Last, does it have hole in the back to attach a strap?

I just posted the new full size one. It has the strap attachment. Both use two CR123s. We are doing battery life tests now. LEDs are not Cree

only 170 lumens on the full size and 180 on the compact? i was hoping for somthing closer to the 380 of the ultimate weapon light.  do you know if it is possible to switch out the LED for one with more output like people do with other flashlights?

I ordered one of the compacts as an impulse buy when I ordered my BCM CH. It's a great little light for the price & I'm likely to order another one soon. I opened the kitchen door to the garage & clicked on the light, it lit the whole damned garage up with a nice white light.

Not possible to swith out the head. After the Chrismas rush I will get some comparison photos up.

I hadn't really tested it for distance. I opened the back door & shined it on the fence, about sixty feet away, it works that far. To be honest, it's more a flood than a spot light.

that is fine, I was worried about 100+ft, it's just that the LED light I have now is good to about 10 ft, so 60 will be much better.

I ordered another one today. One for the pickup & the other for things that go bump in the night.
