That is a railed top cap for our mounts. It let's you put a red dot on top of the mount.

Got my scope today. Its great.

Got another question.

It comes with 2 wrench. I know the big one is to adjust the zero the turret. What does the tiny one do?

Nothing. The factory put it in the box so we left it in.

Will the TNVC RDPII work on this top rail? Will there be enough clearance to use the red dot in a close range scenario?

That will work just fine. It looks like the urrett is blocking it but it is OK. If you can wait another week we will have our own mini reflex. $79

Mini Reflex! Excellent - any side offset mounts in the works as an alternative?
