How easy is it to remove the mount on the M4 and installed a QD mount?

My understanding is that it can't be done but I would love to hear a solution as well.

None available. We are looking at changing the mount but that would not happen until second qtr of next year at best.

Thanks Marshall. I'll pass that info over to a buddy of mine that wants the M4 but with QD mounts.

it costs a little more but we can get his a Aimpoint M4 with a Bobro mount.

The problem is he's cheap, like me....
