On my 4x Compact I can not get my focus ring to move. It is so tight and even with taking it off of the gun it won't budge. Anyone else have that issue?

Yep. Mine was very, very tight. Just had to put some muscle behind it to get it to move but once it broke loose it is very smooth.

Mine was pretty tight when I first received it. I placed a cloth aroung the focus ring and loosened it with a pair of channel locks. I can turn it fine now.

Mine was very tight too. Worked it back/forth a bit and now it's acceptable. I'd try some clothe wrapped around it to keep from marring it, plus pliers/clamp of some kind if you're really in trouble.

Ok knowing this is normal helps. I just thought for sure it was going to break. I'll pull out the muscle
