How about pricing? I was actually torn between the M4 for the options and the M3 for the size/style/price. Also, is there any POI change between the reticules. Don't have the final price but probably $119 range with the cantilever mount. No shift when changing reticles on the prototype. I have the pre-production units in house and am doing final testing including battery life. It uses CR2 lithium batteries. |

Is it still going to be available with the regular mount? I'll be putting it on a Larue mount a few months out and don't need to pay for more mount than needed right off. Great to hear there's no poi shift, huge upgrade from the usual junk. Yes it will be $10 less with the low mount. |

Gen 2 Micro dot on optional riser. The prototype has handled everything I threw at it. Probably 60 days out. http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb190/marsh2001/Micro2.jpg I love that Gen 2 Micro. Does it line up with your Magnifier w/QDM? If so do you have any pics? |

Thanks Marsh, looks like I will need to use an adapter like this one http://www.midwayusa.com/viewProduct/?productNumber=360568 to fit onto my .22. I've been keeping an eye on your products since you started and I'm glad to see what has become of Primary Arms. I want one of each eventually |

Just got my multi-M3, very nice. I'm impressed. Shipping was nice and fast too. Houston to Hartford, CT in 2 days. Hard to beat that.
Quality of fit and finish is excellent. All the promised features are there and well done. As promised I can't see any shift in poi between patterns relative to my irons, which it does a very nice lower 1/3 cowitness with using the cantilever mount. I've got some pics that I'll post in a bit, but I know the attempt to show the cowitness didn't really come out. I didn't have time to mess with it and was holding the rifle with one hand to keep it upright and camera in the other.
I really like the set of patterns for the reticule. The cross is solid and bulky but not super heavy. The circle with lines is fine but a good size and crisp. The larger circle with dot uses the same fine dot as the basic dot, I'm assuming it's 2moa. Very clean and bright. The first few brightness settings are almost invisible except in a dim room, but it ramps up to very bright. The dial goes all the way around, so if you want you can skip straight from off to full instead of off to dim. The mount is nothing special, but appears and feels to be well built, similar to my burris xtreme's. In fact, it wouldn't surprise me to find out they're made in the same factory and that the top half is the same piece. It locks up well and I don't forsee any problems. I used a touch of locktite on the screws and they threaded in cleanly with no sticky spots or binding. The threading was clean and even. The caps feel pretty good, they're not Aimpoint or Acog factory caps/covers, but they're better than anything I've seen on clones or other scopes in this price range. They're more like what I'd expect from something costing 50% more. Firm but not crazy springs, soft but not thin or wobbly covers, caps that snap in place with a positive feel. Whether the caps stay closed properly and handle the wear and tear of regular use is yet to be seen, but I expect to see them hold up at least as well as anything else short of the top of the line equipment. Since I can buy a whole new scope for the cost of a high end cover set... I'll post a range report once I get this thing out shooting. That might be a bit though, schedule is a bit rough for getting to a range until next week or even after that. Short of anything horrible cropping up I definitely see myself buying another one for my 10/22 to replace the tasco on there now. I don't have any other rifles these would be suited for right now, but Primary Arms will be on my list for future equipment. Any time you see something that's clearly a knock off of a major product you have to wonder. In this case Marsh has come up with a high quality alternative that isn't pretending to be something else, just using the design as a basis for another product. Price is excellent, and quality is there. Unless it fails on me from normal use, or starts eating batteries while off, I'm going to say this is more of a $200-$250 sight than $100. It's not the super tough indestructible Aimpoint it's based on, but it's worth a look for those of us who don't want or need to spend the money on the absolute best. If the Tasco's a Ford Taurus, and the Aimpoint's a Ferrari this is a BMW 5 series or maybe a Corvette. Marsh, if you want this posted somewhere else just lemme know, and thank you for a great product at a great price, with excellent service. |

<–––––– *Anxiously awaiting flip to side mount* Any idea exactly how these will work? Will it flip to the right or left side? Will it have a quick release to remove the magnifier or will you have to remove the entire mount to remove the magnifier? Flips to the right. A QD mount was one of the changes I requested. If they understood what I was asking it will come with the same QD as the current mount. |

I'll be ordering an M3 Multi with a 3x magnifier soon, I'm very excited after reading about everyone's positive experiences.
Here's a question for you Marsh: Do you plan on finding a similarly great valued and well done ACOG at any point? I would love to have a nice ACOG scope without spending $800+ for it! |

Seriously, I have a A4 clone that my Dad has taken from me because he fell in love with it, but he wants an inexpensive optic and I want a ACOG. This would be a great middle ground till I re-appropriate the gun back from him |
| I dont see an acog coming from them, maybe but a red dot is easy to clone well. if they make an acog clone it will either be a scope or a red dot. not anything like the trijicon counter part, if they could make one that was a close clone that would be great, but it would drive the price to nearly what a trijicon would run. If you want a decent acog repilca scope they are out thier, a trijicon replica it is not. Primary arms aleady has good red dots, Id stick with thouse =o) |

Primary arms already has good red dots, Id stick with thouse =o) I am a little confused when you say there are Acog replicas but not Trijicon replicas. In any case I am always very clear you are not getting Aimpoint quality with my red dots. I sell the real deal if that is what you want. In my Primary Arms brand I strive for the best value weapons grade Aimpoint style red dots. Also sometime when people say replica they mean counterfeit. My Primary Arms products never have fake logos. I will not do business with a factory that makes them. My Agog style will be the same. It will have the general shape of a Acog, 4X fixed magnification, lit T- BDC reticle, integrated mount, top rail for a Micro Dot. It is battery powered unlike a real Acog that is fiber and Tritium powered. 2m waterproof, fogproof. Not Acog glass but clear and bright. Estimated price $119-139. Same quality and service as my other products. |

| Got my multi-reticle m3 and 3x mag! Checked them out briefly, attached the mounts, so far so good. They feel real nice, and shipping was fantastic - 2 days from order to delivery on the east coast! I'll be mounting them to my Colt in a couple hours. Thanks for all the help, Marshall! I'll post impressions when I get them on the rifle and after hitting the range some time next week. |

Just used my aimshot laser bore sight to get my m3 in the ballpark and had a chance to mess around with it a bit outside (no shooting yet). So far, I'm fully psyched on this product. I actually only went with the multi reticle vs. the regular m3 because of the smaller 2moa dot since I'm using the 3x mag, but I actually really like the eotech style circle with a dot in the middle as well. All of the reticles are very sharp and clear, plenty bright and they don't even star out on the brightest settings.
The quick detach mount on the 3x mag is great, although I've noticed that it doesn't always line up 100% without needing to adjust it a bit. No big deal, but I'm definitely looking forward to getting a flip to side mount. My only minor complaint is that the front flip up lens cover on the m3 doesn't stay on very well. If you try to flick it up with one hand / finger the whole thing pops off. Not the end of the world, and all things considered if that's the only negative I can point out then I'd say that's pretty awesome. I'm psyched, hoping to shoot tomorrow. Thanks again Marshall! |
