As a side note, my first Dagger is now well past the 1,000 round mark and I took a class with it last weekend. No problems or issues during the class, and aside from a few break in hiccups during the first 100 rounds, the pistol has been running like a sewing machine.
For non-gun people who are looking for a basic defensive handgun at a budget price, the Dagger is going to be what I recommend. |

Not the CDS Dagger I thought it was.

So this new Dagger is roughly equivalent to a G19X?
It has a 4" barrel, a G17 is 4.6", correct? |

I handled one yesterday and the grip is really nice.

I have to push the mag release so hard it makes my thumb hurt to get the mags to drop free. Is that typical? Will it improve as time goes on or should I just get a Glock mag release spring? |

Check the mag release fit within the notch on the mag (take mag catch out of gun to do) |

My only complaint with the Dagger is that the grip texture tends to rub skin off my hip and retain the dead skin in the crevasses of the grip.

Hate to start a thread so I'll ask here.
Will a standard G19 holster work for the Dagger compact? Thanks! |

Here's my Dagger so far:
Attached File PSA Dagger Complete SW1 RMR Slide w/ Threaded Barrel PSA Dagger Compact Complete Polymer Frame, Sniper Green (w/ stripped AR lower) Glock G19 Gen 5 magazine Strike Industries +5 magazine extension Inforce light (I forget the model, I had it on another gun) Strike Industries Micro Threaded Comp - QUAD Holosun HS407A3 For the price, I'm happy. The trigger guard digs into my finger a little bit and the lip at the bottom is annoying. I might sand some of those hot spots down to see if I can get it to feel better in my hands. The trigger isn't the greatest so I want to swap it out but I can't decide which trigger to put in. I kind of want the Timney but have heard they can be finnicky in the Dagger. I also don't like the mag release but I'm hoping it will break in after a while. I shot it before I put the Holosun and comp on it and it shot well. |

Trigger reset issue with my compact Dagger frame and AIM slide came back after going away the last 2 range trips.
Any problem areas to check? I might have to email PSA and see what I can do. I also bought a full size Dagger frame and a PSA slide |

Didn't have a lot of time yesterday, but put another 100 rounds through the 1st Dagger I bought, for a total of 400 rounds. So far 100% reliable, no issues such as pins walking, mags dropping. Also, have only used Magpul mags, no OEM Glock mags.
It shoots as accurate as any Gen 3 G19 thats ever been in my hands. I have 1 unfired, 1 with 200 rounds, and this one with 400 rounds. I will be getting a G34 size once they come out. |

I've read that that can cause this issue. I put in an aftermarket trigger and am having reset issues. I'm still messing with mine to see if I can get it to work right. |

If I hold very light or pull off altogether on holding the trigger after the break it will reset, but if I hold it down somewhat to firmly it will not reset. |

Ran into similar issue - Dagger frame - Tr Enabling Slide - AIM slide parts kit. Turns out the striker was too "fat" and getting wedged in the hole in the slide. Racking the slide would get it to retract. A few minutes with an India stone on the striker fixed the problem I went ahead and ordered a new slide pk from TR. Funny thing is I used the same recipe TR slide & Aim pk on a 2nd dagger - zero issues. Some web searching found that out of spec strikers are not uncommon in the "value" PKs. No more AIM parts for me... |

finally bit the bullet and got a dagger upper to go with the lower I bought with a stripped ar15 lower.
I got an RMR but it didn't come with a plate already attached so no screws. The screws that come with my trijicon are too large. Does anyone know if I can order some screws off of amazon that will work? |

If I'm understanding this correctly.
A full size complete Dagger slide will fit my G22 frame correct effectively as a slide swap from .40 to 9mm? |

Brownells has a longslide and barrel that is the same length as the 17, and fits on a 19 size frame.
On another note Alien Gear Holster's new Roswell line, model for the G19 fits my Dagger with a Brownells G19 slide almost perfectly. There is a slight rubbing/scratching where the slide is chamfered instead of radiused on top. |

I put an RMR on my dagger slide today. The gasket of the RMR overhangs the edges of the slide. I assume I need a sealer plate? Suggestions?
