I understand PSA is currently concentrating on getting the first 2 versions of the JAKL out right now, but you think considering what ammo prices are like and what they could likely continue to be for a while maybe we could get a 762 39 upper? I mean sure we would have to use those goofy looking duramags but 40 CPR for x39 is a hell of a lot better that $1 CPR for 300 or 80 CPR for 556. I mean an AK mag one could be done and would be cool, but Im sure there is a lot more engineering that has to go into that and it doesn't seem like there is a lot of time for engineering right now for anyone. Plus then you have a lower that doesn't interchange with anything else, so you mess up your versatility.

I’d love to see a JAKL upper in x39 that would work with my KS47 SBR lower...

Ha, I think everyone would just like to see the Jakl.
Here we are in Jan ‘21 the last stated release time. No Jakl. No update. |

Will there be sufficient barrel shoulder and thread cut relief on the Jakl’s chambered in 300 blackout. The previous 300 Blackout I purchased from yall didn’t have either of these things. Had to swap out the PSA barrel with a Hanson Barrel for suppressor use. Please get this right on the Jakl! |

Namely the overeinsetion tabs and the single feel ramp. Not terribly difficult I would think but still a bit of engineering. Again though considering the cost of ammo right now I would think it would be a good seller, potentially better than 300 BLK since 300 BLK is 80+ cpr right now and even in good time 300 BLK is relatively expensive. Also if you aren't super interested in running suppressed the x39 is basically a super sonic 300 blk so its a good option. I know id buy one in a second if they released it. I just got a KS47 and as much as I like it I could see a lot of advantages something like a jakl upper would bring. The biggest of which would be a mp5 style bolt hold. |

I still hope this comes out before Biden fucks everything, but I also do hope that a 16" carbine version with a extended upper is planned down the road.
I know most people here want the small compact gun, but I would be fine with a Carbine length version, There are maybe two choices for using the AR-15 lower, Faxon ARAK upper and Brownells BRN-180, and The JAKL looks better than both of them, IMO. Also as someone mentioned the Suggestion thread, making a version that is compatible with the KS-47 lower. Know its not going to be for a while if any of those happen, but still putting it out here. |

Where was live stream?
Hopefully the price is jacked up a lot more to give them some incentive to get this going, improve it. The sig mcx is what it’s competing against. This should be 11-1500 dollar rifle. |

ETA and why the fuck would you want them to jack up the price? Money makes you sick or something? I want them to jack up the price so they’ll actually be incentivized to build them and make them well. Why do you think they’re six months behind schedule? Why do you think the dagger is a year behind? Low margins. Or no margins with this current gun world? I run a business. You know what gets the highest priority? The stuff I make the most money from. Have a couple things not making the priority because it’s not paying enough for it to be a priority The truth is they won’t give it the attention they deserve if they’re not making enough money. |

I’ve had a BRN-180 300 in my cart with Brownells several times but keep holding out for this.
As long as competitively priced with it I’ll be happy. |

The last one I bought was a fantastic running railed mlok rifle kit for 279. It stills doesn’t change the fact that a company isn’t going to devote the time and money to something if they’re not gonna make a good profit from a new product |

I'd be interested in a 350 Legend Jakl for Iowa muzzle loader and gun seasons... I think a 358 Win would be the better caliber but you aren't close to being there yet

Anyone of the opinion that we'll see some video footage of folks shooting the Jakl at the PSA event that's happening this week?
