This first pic is with Remington Core Lokt 150's. There's 4 in one ragged hole. POA was top of the diamond.
This second pic is a group with the Malaysian surplus ammo. I pulled the left one a touch. The Malaysian ammo shoots to the same poi as my 150 grn Core Lokts, which was a pleasant surprise.
This one is pretty representative of what I've been getting with the Remington ammo. Not bad, but could be much better. For hunting deer under 300yrds, it'll get the job done.
Another Remington group.
This is another more representative group of the Malaysian milsurp. It's not bad for surplus.
This five shot group in the bullseye was done after my daughter shot, and had a hard time hitting anything. Turned out our range boards(you know the kind, with the carpet on them) weren't steady. So, I steadied them up and shot the five shot group in the bullseye to prove to my daughter that the rifle was indeed still shooting to poa. Ammo, was Remington Core Lokt 150's. As you may can tell, I love Remington ammo. I've always enjoyed using Remington Core Lokts for hunting.
While these groups aren't super good for a precision rifle, I think the PA10 has tons of potential. For the price they're selling them at I don't think any other manufacturer can beat them right now. The gen 1's had some issues, but I think PSA fixed those issue's in the Gen 2. As far as accuracy goes, without putting on an expensive match grade barrel mine seems to be doing ok. And, I haven't even tried 168's or 175 match grade ammo yet. With a good solid rest, good ammo, and a better shooter than me, the PA10 I have would probably hold it's own in the accuracy department. I'm far from a good shooter. And, I tend to shoot from less than a good rest. In fact, the shooting at my father inlaws place was done using a plastic bucket in the seated position. My local range has the 4x4 pieces of wood with the carpet on them. One of these days I'll invest in a decent range bag to rest my rifle on. Of course ymmv.
