Good grief.
NONE of you know how it was done. You seem to be delighted in your ignorance. Hey, I admit it, i have no idea why most of you are devoid of curiosity.
My favorite technical reply is this one: "either whacked, beat, smashed, hulk-slammed, or yanked your FSB straight." Now THERE's the answer I was looking for!
There are marks on the FSB but frankly, I don't remember whether they were {some or all} there before. However they did it, they did it right. I shot the rifle this morning with a variety of ammo and it required some left windage and some right windage depending on ammo, so all's well. It also looks good, well, as good as this particular rifle CAN look as it has been used pretty hard. They sure didn't hurt it any.
I have had good experience with PSA over time. I like the outfit.
I was/am just interested in the actual, technical way they fixed it and frankly, didn't need all the GD-style nonsense from the peanut gallery.
As I said above, IF the method is for some reason not allowed to be revealed, that is fine by me. All they needed to say was THAT. But the replies from PSA were not technical in nature as to the details. So I asked and got more, but still not the full details. As I say, if it's a secret, which for some reason it appears to be, no worries, PSA.
