I bought one of PSA's 9mm billet lowers that accepts glock mags, and I need help on a couple fo things:

 1. When building the lower with a carbine buffer tube, does it use the standard AR buffer and spring?

 2. Can I use any upper receiver (I plan to use a slickside) as long as I use the hybrid bolt carrier and matching barrel?

I hate to ask dumb questions, but I want to buy the right parts on the first try.

Thanks

Yes, carbine tube but you will need a 9mm buffer.  It is blowback, not DI so the the heavier buffer is needed.  The hybrid bolt is also what you need, and a standard trigger pack (no 9mm hammer needed on thr hybrid bcg, buy not all aftermarket hammers will work). I use an ALG ACT trigger and it works great with the hybrid bcg.

You will need a 9mm barrel and a slick side will work.  Mine has an Aero slick side upper.  Take note that 9mm barrel measurements are the whole thing since the extension is a machined part of the barrel.  I.e. an 8.5" barrel will be about 7.5" once installed.  Plan your rail accordingly.
