A little over a year ago I purchased a complete PSA 16" CHF midlength upper. It's been great and I'm now thinking about putting a direct thread silencer on it.

What I would like to know is whether the barrel threading is likely to be concentric.

You should be fine. Just check it before you put rounds down range.
