I just saw your email and looked at getting some boxes of 40 cal Blazer Brass. Your site quoted me $170 for shipping 10 boxes. Please check that out.

Thank you for the inquiry.

We will look into it.

It quoted me $37 and I am in GA. That was for 20 boxes. That is twice what other retailers charge to ship the same amount of ammo. What gives?

They have to make up for the sale price somehow

You mean like this.  This was from the sale on 12/21/15.

Thank you for your comments.

We have checked into the shipping rates.  The system shipping rate was incorrectly set to a firearm rate per unit,  instead of weight, it has been fixed.  We apologize for the inconvenience.

That's to bad since it made me buy the same thing somewhere else.

Nothing changed for me. Just checked again and the shipping quote was the same. $36.50 for 1000 rounds of Blazer Brass .40 S&W ammo. From Columbia to Augusta. No thanks.

EDIT: Quotes from other companies are around $20. Same old story as the last time we had this talk.

Thank you for your comments.

The initial comment was for a much higher rate - that has been corrected.

1000 rounds is 45lbs less the box.  It looks like $36 is the minimum charge as that is the same rate local to Columbia through UPS.

There may be cheaper shipping alternatives, but we have not had good luck with any of the other guys in terms of package safety or tracking.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Fair enough. I'll take you guys off the list when looking for ammo from now on.
