I would like to know details....Do they have any MIM parts? Who builds them & what country? Series 70 firing system? etc....

to my knowledge, and this is just what ive gleaned : Series 70 system. Built in USA / SC.  

Idk bout MIM parts though, or where the parts that theyre built from are from.

in that price range they are great looking pistols. rumors were all over the road on pricing from wilson combat pricing to rock island prices. this gives the rock island customers a pretty looking stepping up point for not much more money. let's just hope they can keep billboards off the sides of them.

i would be willing to test, evaluate, and keep the sample pistol psa.

not a big deal.

quality control is as important as the material used. i would take a mim part from a reputable manufacture over an ethiopian forged part.

what it is has already been answered above, so i offer this.

I know, but I like mine better with the ambi safety and the threaded barrel.

i see "premium" in the description on the tag, does this mean they may offer a "ptac", or "freedom" version? i could see myself buying american made "ptac" 1911s sub $300 next black friday.

The trigger, thumb safety and hammer look to be very similar to the parts from the Metro Arms brand of guns from the Philippines.  The trigger is a dead giveaway.
