My dad recently ordered a barreled reciever and parts kit (gen1). It's both of outs first experience with an AK. Everything went together fine except for the rear sight. The leaf spring is not installing right, it has no tension and just sort of flops around.
Ive noticed that every video I have seen, the slot that the leaf spring sits into is flat. On my AK iit bevels outword. Is this normal for the PSA reciever? I'm thinking that this is why it won't set properly. http://i.imgur.com/TqWJ7wh.jpg |

Are you referring to the leaf spring? If so, thats the piece that's not isntalling correcetly. It will sit in place, but there is no tension, which I think has to do with the outword bevel you see in the picture allowing it to slide forward.I can put all the pieces in, but without tension on the leaf spring, the sight itself will just slide on and off.
