The stores in Columbia aren't in areas that are reporting anything major. The Greenville and Ridgeland store areas weren't hit hard by any of this. The one I'm curious about is the one in Mt Pleasant. some of the photos ive seen from around mt. pleasant store look bad, others not so much. I havent seen any of the actual store. Columbia stores, while there is disaster alla round us, are fine to my knowledge. they sit on fairly high ground, so flooding would be doubtable. Lack of water throughout columbia right now is a major concern however. |

UPS has been shut down round columbia for deliveries today and maybe tomorrow too... so that is not surprising. Quoted:

I passed the Old Dunbar warehouse today, looks like they kept the place closed. Sit tight for shipments. UPS has been shut down round columbia for deliveries today and maybe tomorrow too... so that is not surprising. Lots of roads washed away. NE Columbia is undergoing an evac now as another dam on a small lake broke. |

I was just wondering how you guys were doing in SC after this latest round of storms. Sounds like it's gonna be a long recovery for the state. Y'all stay safe out there; things can be replaced, but people can't. Let your Arfcom brothers know if we can help. will do jack. thanks.. luckily where im at was uneffected. alla round me, and downtown is another story. All i can say is things you think never would happen, can. So tell someone you love, you love them. you never know when it may be the last time. many folks have lost their lives in these storms. the flooding has been quite terrible and awesome. We will survive, and repair things.. it will take time. PSA 's been great, and has been working with the community as well from what i understand. So although they are a business, theyre busy helping the folks in danger, and in need. Hopefully folks wont be so critical of them now, when shipping slows a bit. |

Thank you for the inquiry and concern.
While our physical locations suffered very little damage from the storm, there are employees, friends and family that have not been so fortunate. While insurance can replace things, it is traumatic to lose a home, and escape with the clothes on your back. Please keep the victims of the flood in your thoughts and prayers. Donations to any one of the charities involved in recovery would certainly help. |
