I'm looking at buying one of the complete freedom rifle kit but is there any way to substitute out the standard m4 configuration parts (stock handguns grip) to all magpul stuff? I'd prefer not to buy it all separately

Unfortunately, we cannot substitute items on kits. However, there should be a Freedom MOE Kit. If it is not in stock now, it will be soon.
