Ordered PTAC 16" Midlength 5.56 NATO SOCOM 1/7 Nitride Upper - with BCG and Charging Handle #507016 last week, here is the link PTAC SOCOM 16" Midlength
Received the upper today with A2 profile barrel: 
I called PSA before placing order and got assured by CS that it came with heavy (socom) profile barrel. Feel very frustrated! Those lame A2 profile barrels are the last I want!

| I ordered the Ptac Nitride middy (except NO bcg/ch) which was listed as an A2 barrel and the packaging label (Ptac, not PSA) said Socom. That is why I made a comment in another thread that PSA has often called a socom an A2 and vice versa. I'm happy with the upper (although slightly heavier than an A2), but PSA seriously needs to be more accurate with their descriptions and know which is which. |
