9mm build is almost done...i need a different sear spring and an ejector roll pin. Might end up polishing the frame instead of coating it.

Finally to the range today with the 9mm and my 45.
First pic is the 9mm after a 50 rd. break-in, shooting at 12 yrds. The more i shot, the tighter the groups. Should have taken an after pic of the final grouping. 
This pic is of my .45, bench rest at 15yrds. Lowlight range, couldn't see my fiber optic as well. That is 8 shots. 
Very happy with my PSA builds, now i need more frames! |

I never did get the chance to buy a factory 1911 from them either as the funds were never there when the blued pistol i liked was, so im pretty disapointed if i missed that boat on getting one from them. |

Little late to the party. Just picked up my $99 Black Friday frame today.
Now to hunt up a bunch of the 1911 parts scattered in my gun tool box.

I hated going to weddings. All the grandmas would poke me and say "You're next". They stopped that when I started doing it to them at funerals.

I was already thinking about cerakoting or nickel plating them. Now I guess I have an excuse. When I was on the phone with PSA, the rep commented that these are not a new run, but leftovers from the previous run, 1911 project. Don't quote me on that. I didn't record it or write it down. Just paraphrasing what I heard. |

All parts, including the frames are now back on the shelf. Hopefully I'll get to them in the next year or two.

I'm working on mine. Cut in a stan chen maxbevel msh and waiting on usps to deliver my beavertail and ambi-safety. Was supposed to be delivered Thursday...

@GamecockOperator I profiled the frame at the msh and took out a scratch below the rollmark. Now I'm done with the bottom.

Anyone build a 10mm using these frames? Which slide did you use? Any issues? |

Took it to the range. Had an occasional hiccup while breaking it in. It is so tight it wouldn't initially hold open on an empty mag. Also wouldn't always go fully into battery, again because of tightness. By the 7th mag it was really breaking in nicely. I lined the back of the slide today also.    Head was 7 yrd breakin point. Center mass 15yrd |
