What is the reason you lengthened the carbine buffer tube and use a standard H buffer rather than just using a standard buffer tube with the shorter and heavier DPMS type 308 buffer and LR308 buffer spring?  I want to run a fixed Magpul Carbine stock on this rifle to lighten it but the stock will not fit a longer carbine buffer tube.  Is there really any real reason related to function or safety that the shorter tube with the shorter H buffer and carbine 308 spring can't be used like it's used on DPMS rifles?  They seem to function just fine using them.  I really don't want to spend an additional chunk of cash just to get a longer mil spec buffer tube and cheap adjustable stock to add to the pile of stocks I already have if there's no real need.

Also, can you please make it a point to explain on your Website the proprietary nature of the PA10 lowers and that proprietary parts are needed to put them together.  PSA parts.  Customers shouldn't have to resort to Forums to find out the pile of parts they bought in prep for their new 308 lower will not fit because PSA has designed yet another confusing AR10 platform that takes special, manufacturer only, parts to put together.  Yes, this has been a bad day for me.  I'm one of the misinformed that will have to invest double my money to put my new lower together because I was not given enough clear information by the manufacturer to make informed purchase decisions before I bought what I assumed was correct.  A bad day indeed.
