I have a Gen 3 PA10 with the middy round handguards. I want to swap the black handguards for green. Can I just buy any midlength handguards, or do I need something AR10 specific?

Does anybody have a photo of how the gen 3 upper fits to the gen 2 lower?

On 3 Nov 2022 (today is 12 Nov 2022) I entered an issue about my PS10 stripped Lower via the website, but have not received a call from the Customer Service folks.

Does anyone know the bore height in inches for the gen 3 PA10? I have this kit: https://palmettostatearmory.com/blem-psa-gen3-pa10-18-mid-length-308-win-1-10-stainless-steel-15-lightweight-m-lok-acs-l-2-stage-rifle-kit2.html
My scope/ring combo is 1.59" (https://palmettostatearmory.com/vortex-sonora-4-12x44-riflescope-w-dead-hold-bdc-reticle-vortex-cantilever-ring-mount-for-1-tube-with-2-offset.html) but I can't find any documentation of the distance from bore to rail on the upper. |

View Quote If you have them just use a ruler from center of bore to center of windage knob and you will have your height above bore. This is a bolt gun but same way to do it. |

Is there a reference somewhere on which upper receivers function and fit well with the Gen3 PA-10 lowers?

The only reason I'm even considering building one is because you all don't have any offered at the moment. As you can see (or send up the chain) in this thread, 16" .308 AR10 are quite popular. |

Got a Gen 2 PA10 .308 with the 18” nitride barrel and accuracy is somewhat abysmal. I’ve only been able to get decent accuracy with Magtech 168gr Sniper, and of course they don’t appear to be making that anymore. Thinking of rebarreling with a Ballistic Advantage 16” Hanson or Govt profile barrel. Anyone do the same or have any experience with either those BA barrels?

Anyone know how the PSA 6.5CM 416R barrels
Compare to Aero Precisions 416R barrels? Both are available in assembled upper form (PSA’s rail + barrel and AP’s rail+barrel) For the same cost PSA gives you a BCG and CH |

Any idea if you'll ever have stripped uppers available again?
I have a PA10, just want a stripped upper to build another upper for it. It seems the only way to purchase one of your uppers is complete or in a set with a lower . Thanks. |

Any chance you will offer gen 1 upper receivers again?

Is there a way to identify a Gen 3 lower by serial number alone? Is there a cutoff point between Gen 2 and Gen 3s as far as the serial numbers? And what are identifying characteristics of a Gen 3 upper? I need to know what to look for if a seller claims to have a Gen 3 but doesn't have any proof, ie factory paperwork, etc. Thanks.

Any info on take down pin diameter and rail height (handguard compatibility) on the billet Sabre AR10s? they look like an SR25 pattern vs the DPMS pattern forged...

There have been couple of PA10s, and PA10 lowers for sale locally and I couldn't tell from the photos whether they're Gen3 or not, and haven't had a chance to check them in person. At least I know what to look for now. Thanks! |

Will an AR 15 enhanced bolt catch work with the PA10? If not, who makes an enhanced bolt catch that works with your lowered. TIA |

PA10 - Cycling issue.
Hey guys - have a 16" gen 3 upper paired with the same PSA lower (just bought them separately) https://palmettostatearmory.com/psa-pa10-16-mid-length-308-win-1-10-nitride-15-lightweight-m-lok-upper-with-bcg-ch.html First time I took it out - it ran suppressed and unsupressed fine. I did not have the long allen wrench with me to adjust the gas but it was hitting "hard" but running fine. When I got home, went to adjust the gas block and realized the detent wasnt working amd it was set at "fully closed" from the factory. Took the handguard off.... fixed the gas block (the small bearing had fallen into the gas block) . Verified the ~24 clicks. Set it at 10 out from closed and hit the range again. Now it doesn't cycle at all. Operating like a bolt action. Turned the gas all the way closed... same. Out more...the same. Plus when pulling the charging handle to eject the spent case... its "tight" and takes a good pull. Though it was dry.... so disassembled the bolt... cleaned and lubed it a ton and cleaned the barrel. Hit the range again. Same thing. Only operates like a bolt action. Ammo tried PPU ZQI And old Aussue surplus from the FAL days Thoughts? |

Josiah,
Ive ran it flully closed, 5 clicks "open"...10 clicks "open" and other variations of open. All result in bolt action type action with a hard to extract case. |

Any chance you guys will release a PA-10 compatible 12" or 15" quad rail? I am building a PA-10 with a 20" barrel on your receivers and I really want to do a quad rail as weight is something I want on this rifle plus the looks.
Any chance you would do a small run of 15" quad rails for the PA-10? Another question... Will the PSA BCG for the 6.5 BCG also work with the .308 I know they have the same case head but can I use it in a .308 because I might later swap barrels to 6.5CM down the road? @PalmettoStateArmory |
