27 July ordered the 16" CHF Mid-length Premium Upper (no BCG or CH) picked ground shipping (free shipping is best shipping) with discount = $287.99
30 July received UPS shipping notice with scheduled delivery of 5 August (not bad for ground shipping coast to coast). I failed with attention to detail and didn't notice it was signature required and went out of town on 3 August assuming my wife would grab it off the porch on the 5th. 7 August I was still out of town and got UPS notice saying 2 delivery attempts were made and package being returned to sender. Not sure why UPS didn't send an auto notice after first delivery attempt.  Because I was no longer the recipient I couldn't change the delivery to be held for pick up either.
Immediately launched an email to PSA asking them to ship it back. 13 August received UPS shipping notice with scheduled delivery of 19 August. I immediately changed delivery to be held at the hub for pick up. 19 August picked my upper up. Packaged well. A box inside another box with foam padding in inner box. Upper and barrel look flawless. Totally happy and I'm sure it will shoot well. Thanks PSA for fixing my screw-up and shipping the item right back to me. If I hadn't screwed up, I would have had my item 9 days from ordering and that's ground shipping coast to coast. I've read a lot of complaints on here about PSA, but every time I've ordered I've been completely satisfied. |
