So, let me preface this with saying that previously I've had plenty of good experiences with PSA, to the point where I have recommended them to all my friends and even some poor saps I've seen perusing the ammo shelves at Gander Mountain... However, with my latest order, I've become incredibly frustrated, and their CS won't seem to clear it up, so here I am, laying it all out.

I placed an order on June 29th, after seeing a lower parts kit with a Geissele SSA-E trigger for the amazing price of $219.99. Along with that I ordered everything else I needed to complete a stripped lower I ordered from Joe Bob Outfitters the same day (which shipped the very next day), and a 150 round box of AE 62gr 5.56, because it was only $49.99 and, -why not?

Well, on July 5th I received a UPS shipping confirmation, and the package arrived July 10th... with only the ammo, buffer, castle nut, and K2 grip. I promptly called and eventually got ahold of someone, and was told that since they were in the process of moving warehouses, the orders were split and the rest of the order would be shipping within the next couple days, and he'd even put a note on it.

On July 14th I received another UPS shipping confirmation, and the package arrived on July 18th... with the buffer tube, trigger guard, and carbine spring, -but no lower parts kit w/SSA-E trigger... I tried calling, but their phone system would only say to enter an extension. I kept trying over the course of the next week, but just got more errors or gave up on waiting in the queue line.

So, on July 23rd I sent them an email explaining the situation, my general frustration with the multiple incomplete shipments when it was all useless until I had everything anyway, and how the whole order had predicated upon the lower parts kit w/SSA-E trigger, and asked what was up.
On July 25th, I received this reply:
"Hello Mr. ____, we have been informed by the shipping department that the PSA LPK-E you ordered is currently out of stock. We apologize for this inconvenience and we will process your refund right away. The remainder of your order is in transit."
The refund was processed the next day, but there wasn't anything else in my order left to ship...

I replied again (the same day):
"Well that's certainly maddening, seeing as how that kit (and the price on it) was the singular reason for the entire order, and it said it was in stock when I ordered it. When is it expected to be back in stock, and if you refund it now, will I still be able to get it at that price when it's available again? I'd ask why it took basically a whole month to inform me of this, but I guess that doesn't change it not being in my hands anyway."

On August 2nd, I received this response:
"Hello,
Unfortunately, we are not advised about inventory changes in advance, so please continue to monitor our website for item availability. Prices are subject to change at any time once the item becomes available.   I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you, but please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.?"

I was out of town camping August 1st until the 7th, but I'm still dumbfounded over this response. In my past experience with ordering from PSA, their inventory is updated in real-time so I don't know how I could have ordered something that actually wasn't in stock, I don't know how it took them a full month to inform me it wasn't available (and likely only because I emailed them to ask why it still hadn't shipped), and now they're basically just saying now it's on me to monitor their site to see if it comes back in stock, and then if the price has gone up (likely, as it was listed as actually cheaper than the trigger by itself), then that's what I'll have to pay...

Good to see all is STATUS QUO over at PSA still.

This is the exact reason I haven't placed a single order for the last 10 months.

That's the risk you run for their super deals. Their prices have to be awesome since their service is horrendous. They have had customer service issues for years. As their business has expanded they have put zero effort into fixing the customer service issues. The fact that you have to come to a public forum to air grievances against them or to get a simple order status update is unbelievable. The only positive thing they have is their pricing makes up for the headache. I guarantee they have pissed off more customers than botach but the lure of something for nothing draws customers back in.

Well, with PSA you know you'll get your part of your money. Eventually.

With Botach, you may never get either

ive got a buddy who loves botach, idk though ive nver shopped there.

This has happened many times at psa, and supposedly the new inventory and warehouse system will cause this to not happen or at least not happen as much.  Im still on the fence though as i dont think it wil make all that much of a difference.

Maybe a retail store was doing well selling the product at other than the website.
I spotted a different vendor selling uppers at a gunshow that couldn't deliver them to customers who already paid for them.

I never had an issue with Botach.
They ship super slow, but I don't sit by the mailbox waiting for packages.

Neither do I.   That is why I use binoculars and a video system to watch for approaching delivery vehicles.

OP - We apologize for your inconvenience and we will honor that sale price if you were to order that LPK in the future. We are currently working to solve our inventory issues, but unfortunately, errors do occur at times. If you are willing to wait for the item to come back in stock and place an order for the kit, please send me the order number once the order is placed and we can go from there. Thank you.
