I received a 12" upper for pistol project a couple weeks ago. I knew when I laser bore sighted it that something was wrong. I had to adjust the rear sight to the extreme right. It looked canted to my eye as well. I shot it just to make certain though. That confirmed it. I had to adjust it even further when I shot it. I didn't run out of adjustment but had to move the rear sight almost as far as it would go. This surprised me. Other uppers I've received from PSA required one or two clicks from center with irons.
Anyway, my question is, I have the tools and can easily fix this myself. I'd prefer to not deal with the hassle of sending it back. If I fix this myself, would that void the warranty in the event there was some other issue with this upper? |

Send it back and they will fix it. I had the same issue with one of my PSA uppers. +1. I would send it back. They were VERY quick about it. Mine was fixed less than 6 hours after they received it and it was back on the UPS truck the same day. Also received an apology letter and PSA sticker. |

Unfortunately it seems to be a common problem with PSA. |

Yeah, the right thing to do is to send it back. I'm confident they could fix it promptly. Just seems like a hassle for something I can correct in 15 minutes. Thanks for the replies. OP, Please shoot us an IM here with your order number and we'll get you taken care of. |

i really hate that these cant issues still come up.. :( We do too. We have been working to eliminate this issue in the manufacturing process before it starts. It shows in our return rate which last week was 0.14% returned for FSB canted issues. For whatever reason, it seems most of these folks are active on AR15.com.

As I said my first 3 were nearly perfect. 0.14% is pretty low. Congrats. |

Just ordered my second upper from PSA-couldn't resist getting a pinned 14.7 on this go round. Fingers crossed that my PSA canted front sight return rate will decrease to 50%. only 2nd? great choice though man. itll keep growing (the collection that is of their uppers :) ) |
