Both use 4140 steel, 1/7, and 5.56 chamber... Freedom shows chrome moly barrels

What's better about the freedom line besides the chrome moly? Or are the PTAC also chrome moly? Better QC?

Don't think anyone but PSA has their hands on those yet...  Will be interesting to see.

Oh I know ... I was hoping PSA would come in here and inform us

Edit By PSA:  This was answered in another thread:

"Thank you for your comments.

The recent popularity of non-chrome lined uppers has caused us to re-think our product lineup.

The PSA Freedom series is exactly what is described on the Web page, no more, no less. We are constantly looking to give the market what it wants, and it currently wants a more affordable upper. The chrome lining process is expensive, and eliminating it allows us to pass the savings along. We decided to take it up a notch, however, by lead-lapping the barrel, which increases accuracy by polishing the surface of the bore. You should be very happy with the performance of the Freedom line, the price is just an added bonus."
