Hey guys, New to the site and still getting use to everythings situated, I currently have a colt .22 that I have been messing around with and Im looking to build my next rifle, Heres a list of parts I am thinking about picking up and was hoping I can get some feedback about it or anything else I am missing.

Looks like a sweet build. Just be aware that putting that lower you picked out on that upper will make it a Short Barreled Rifle. You will need to file the proper paperwork and tax stamp, etc for it. Other than that I'd personally opt for the gunfighter charging handle over the PSA one. |

Barrel length needs to be at least 16 inches to attach a stock. If you go with a 12 or 11 inch then you will have built a pistol and must not attach the stock. Probably should not even have it in your posession. That being said there are nuances. If you are going under a 16 inch barrel you need to do some serious reading in the ar pistol forum. |

If the muzzle device is what makes the overall length 16" then yes, it must be pinned and welded. |

After doing a little more reaserch im kind of leaning towards the bcm kmr handguard at the moment over psa sqr, Is it better to stick with a psa upper or will i be ok with a bcm upper assembley?
