This is a first for me with PSA, and I can see where some of the guys who bitch about them so much are coming from. I ordered one of the GSG 1911's with $100 gift card on 1/17/14, order #2100594945. The problem with my order is that according to your compliance dept my FFL is not on file, except that he is. Wouldn't you know it though, I get an email from the compliance dept letting me know that his license on hand is out of date. No problem, I'll call him and have him get a hold of PSA and straighten it out. Which he did. However, the compliance dept still has no up to date FFL on hand. I know emails only get read about once a year around there, so I've tried calling. The wait times are obscene, and when someone did answer I got no where. To be honest I'm sick of wasting my time and that of my FFL who stands to make very little from the transfer. I really would like to just have the order canceled and a FULL refund issued to my card. Also, how long does it really take to over-night and in stock item? I know its busy down there, but you guys need to get this stuff ironed out. Hopefully a PSA man of action reads this because my phone battery is almost dead, so another phone call is out of the question. |

Thank you for your patience in this matter and we apologize for the inconvenience. After looking up the FFL on the order in our systems, it appears that the license we have on file expired at the very end of 2013. We understand the frustration, but our compliance department is still attempting to catch up with the huge influx of orders we've recently received and because of the influx, firearms may take up to 10 business days to process. If you would still like to cancel the order, please contact me via IM. |

As an update, I unexpectedly received a shipping confirmation email for the pistol this morning. I'm assuming someone must have found my FFL's information down there at PSA. It's just a little odd being that just yesterday I was planning on canceling the order out of frustration.
I'm still a little frustrated and hope this doesn't happen again when it comes time to order some lowers (Because I will be ordering more, maybe even a 308) |
