| Can some one confirm what brand the .22 conversion is that comes with the rife kit or the one that comes with the BCG and charging handle? I know they sell CMMG but it's not stated in the adds. |

Quoted:
" For use with Ciener-style magazines." CRAP I was hoping it was the CMMG conversion. What make you think it is not CMMG because of the details stating " For use with Ciener-style magazines."? The .22 CMMG is a ciener-style bolt and also uses ciener-style magazines. So don't give up hope yet as that description does not eliminate it from being a CMMG. |

PSA's past labeling practices would suggest you are wrong. Quoted:

If it was CMMG...PSA probably would label and market it as such... PSA's past labeling practices would suggest you are wrong. Perhaps. But given that CMMG is a widely known maker of 22 ARCs and PSA already sells CMMG 22 converions, don't you think identifying the kits for sale as CMMG would give people confidence to make a purchase, instead of leaving the manufacturer ambiguous? |

I am glad my post turned out to be true and for those guys who ordered one it appears to be the older style CMMG BCG which I have had zero issues with. So I hope you ordered one as they are very good and that was a deal. |

Is this the same bcg that is in the bravo kits? i assume so.... at 200 for 2 bcg's versus 230ish for the bravo kits alone.. ETA: You cant beat the deal. |

I had the old style phosphate or whatever previously. I got it on sale for $130 and the SS was like $150. The newer ones have a few needed improvements. yea the SS is a great deal at 100 each with the ptac.. they were 90 so your looking at like what 110 and 90 for a ptac. so great deal. but again, do we know if these are newer or older style CMMG bravo SS's? do we know what the changes were from older to newer? |

The Evolution has forward assist Cotter Pin holds the firing pin Push pin holds the extractor (both provide field stripping and repair without tools) Live round extraction Machined for use with piston uppers Machined for optimal use with the BHOA Slight differences in geometry which result in the reliability I don't have the newer one although I need to get one for use in my piston gun but the old style has worked also for me and definitely worth $110 if you figure the PtAC bolt is $90. But if you have the extra $90 and don't need an extra M-16 BCG you may want to spring for one of the evolution models. |
