Hi!!  First off... I LOVE PSA!!  I have one AR with PSA stripped lower, stripped upper, LPK and ALG trigger.  I ordered all this during the Sandy Hook tragedy and I got my stuff surprisingly fast, all things considered.  I currently ordered a stripped upper and a complete lower with MOE parts from PSA and that stuff came in less than two weeks.  Pretty dang good if you ask me!!  Anyways... I thought I had read somewhere that PSA is now manufacturing their own lowers in house.  Is this true?  Or are they still getting them from Aero?  Either way, I am perfectly happy with the product.... I was just wondering.

We cannot comment on our sources, but we do have a new series of lowers due out at the end of the month that will be made here in Columbia.  They will be low shelf.

That is all we can disclose at this time.

I heard that when the serial number changed a while back, they changed from Aero to LW Schneider.  If the new ones are from Columbia, my guess would be FN, since the plant is right down the road and they already make many of the PSA parts.

An FN made low shelf lower would be the bomb, if that's really what it is.

Yep, and I am not aware of any other company in Cola that makes lowers.....

On a side note, I recently noticed the link to the PSA stripped lower went dead on my web browser scanner. Maybe this is the beginning of the vendor transition?

Edit by PSA:  Thank you for your comments.  However, we respectfully request that posters do not spam our forum with ads for other manufacturers merchandise.
For the record, there has been no transition, but an addition to the product line.  The new lowers have features not found in our current offerings, such as a low shelf design.  In addition, we will be bringing back other PSA lower variants in the next few weeks.  Stay tuned.

I just got in six lower receivers that said "Blemish" for the sale but I see nothing wrong with them.

These are all marked LW with the serial number. What does the LW stand for?

I'm very happy with the lowers and the MagPul Moe lower grip parts and trigger group. Very happy! I can't wait for my upper to come in the 15 day wait is killing me.

I forgot to add they all say MULTI on them.

I have both the PA and the LW - I like the older PA version better. Hope the new ones will be good.

The PA where made by Areo -  to me the Fit finish seem to be better than the LW.
