I'm zeroing my newly assembled AR (PSA Dissy Upper) using the 50 yard zero.  In order to zero properly, the front sight post is extending past the ears.  I've not encountered this before and I'm uncomfortable with the front sight extended out so far.  I'm thinking a taller front sight post will solve this, any thought or suggestions?  This is a "F" marked front sight based couple with a Larue Tactical rear sight (LT 103).  I realize a taller front sight post will still extend beyond the ears, but It won't be threaded out so far I feel it's hanging on by a couple of threads..

I would start over.  Get sights to Mechanical zero and start at 25m/300m bzo.  Then, adjust to a 100m bzo and call it good.   I admittedly had to do this once.

Some people that zero with RIBZ(50 yards) have reported this problem. Bushmaster sells the taller FSP.
