Question: Received my Patrol Carbine and noticed that the upper was not stamped with the PSA logo. PSA appears to offer two variations, the Complete Upper and Stripped Unmarked Upper - are they the same minus logo?? From description they appear to be.
Any feedback would be appreciated. If its just a case of logo missing no biggie.... thx! |

I have 2 of the logo uppers and 3 of the non logo uppers and they are clearly not the same upper. The logo upper is a Anchor Harvey Aluminum forging with fine t-markings and a smooth finish. The no logo upper is a BAFE forging with very course t-marks with sloppy white paint. The M4 feed ramps are also cut shallow and slightly canted to one side. Both styles function just fine and I have no complaints about them at all. But yes there is a difference. Hope this helps.

The first was received early this year - a pistol kit with logo and T marks - Anchor Mfg. The second was a summer maddness upper - no logo or T marks - slightly shorter/shallower feed ramp cuts - Square logo = Brass Aluminum Mfg. The the third was just received this week - No logo, bolder T Marks (but still neat) than the logo upper I received. slightly shorter/shallower feed ramp cut - also Brass Al. mfg. other than these slight differences, they are identical. Fit and finish all all three are great. Very happy customer |
