I been following PSA for a while and been rooting for them.  I like to see a small guy come into the market and bring prices down.

Ordered a couple of things during the Labor day sale. I was very disappointed with the quality of the upper they sent me.  And I order a PSA MOE plus LPK, but they shipped a regular MOE grip not the "plus" grip.   As you can see it looks like a blemished upper.

Not sure if you can tell that this grip is not the "Plus" magpul grip.

Edit by PSA:  You should be disapointed.   We are very serious about the quality of our products and track QC on every upper that ships.   If you want to get your issue resolved, per the sticky at the top of the page,  please email your order number and issue to [email protected].

Same here. I received an order yesterday and several items where missing even though they were included in both the shipping notice and packing slip.
I tried to call them, I am not exaggerating, 33 times today while I was at work between the hours of 9am and 4pm and never got through to anyone. I left them a voice mail and an email. I assume it will be a couple days before they get back to me.

Ouch, that definitely looks like a blemished upper. Who inspected it during assembly? That looks like some serious splatter!

I called them today as well and thus immed them here. Their new phone system sucks. Automated to transfer versus busy it hink id rather have busy. at least before i'd get to talk to someone.

Sorry about your bad luck.  That upper looks like shit and shame on PSA for letting it out the door.

I'm also dealing with them right now.  My order came in minus one mag.  The mag is listed as "In Stock" on their website.  No email response after two days.

I know better than to call them...

PSA is in over their head and are stretching themselves too thin.  They better do some hiring to improve their operations.  They are getting a reputation...not a good one.

its not hiring its quality control. Need to have someone inspect each order before it ships after the packing is done. Im willing to wait longer to receive something as long as its right when i get it.

I ordered the exact same LPK and received the regular magpul grip as well.  I also waited almost 15 days to receive it, in addition to FSB pins I ordered.  FSB pins were not even in the box.  Called 70 times and finally got someone live, begged that they simply send out my FSB pins asap.

Still have not received a shipping notification and that was days ago.

15 days, wrong grip, no fsb pins.  5 days have now passed and still no notification on my FSB pins.

Its a damn shame really.  Did my best to support the state of sc and a local columbia business, but damn, this is bush league.

I know what you mean...it has happened to me several times.  It's almost as if they are throwing random parts in a box and hoping it's what you ordered.

I was one of their first customers when they opened their first store on Farrow Rd.  Back then, they were legit.  Now, they have serious issues.

I've ordered several times before and everything was fine.  This last time –– not so much.  I tried calling and just got a message saying that I should call back another time.  I tried several times over a couple of days with no answer.  I posted a message on the Industry site and it was locked and my question deleted.  I sent e-mails and they're unanswered.  They did, however, find the time to charge my CC.

Did they Unionize PSA?  Did the boss just make so much money he is out of town and left other in charge and no one is watching the store?  It's a shame seems so easy to just put the right parts in a box and mail it to the right address.

i like psa.

they have good CS and will fix all of the above issues.

they fixed all of mine and exceeded what they should have done.

BUT

they need to get their shit together soon. QC needs to improve. employee quality/skills needs to improve.

they need to focus on getting caught up on all of their orders, get their shipping under control in a way more timely manner and take a minute to breathe.

instead, they continue sale after sale after sale after sale. this makes lots of people happy, and makes them happy because they are making lots of money.

BUT

many things are slipping out the door that shouldnt be.

Like i said, I love PSA and will continue to order from them. they just need to get some things handled. they still do a damn good job, and what is lacking is made up by them fixing every mistake in a professional manner.

I've had pretty good luck with PSA but they shorted me an item on a recent oder so I gave them a call. After repeated attempts to reach someone, I did speak with a young lady and explained the shortage.  While the item was only about $5, I've ordered about $1500 worth of stuff in the past two months.  She said they would get it sent out right away.  That's been three weeks ago and I've not heard back.  I was going to place another order this week during the free shipping deal but that one little missing item has left a bad taste in my mouth.

I've ordered several hundreds of dollars worth of ammo, and a trigger without any issues. However, I am now waiting for an upper I ordered almost a month ago. I don't mind waiting, but after reading these complaints I'm hoping my upper is good to go (canted FSB, missing handguards, blem upper, etc...) if and when it does arrive. This upper was my last order from PSA, I don't want to keep pushing my luck with them, and end up like one of many that have had negative experiences.

Here's the problem, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.  And frankly, they probably spend a lot of time and effort fixing orders that shouldn't have gotten out like they do in the first place.

I'm not a brand basher, but I've had three orders from them as well as one friend who ordered.  And out of those four orders, fifty percent had something wrong.  Two out of the four had something missing and one was a pretty large item to be missing.  And with that, I have to reevaluate whether to continue spending money and having to turn around to attempt to get someone on the CS line to fix it.  Bless the heart of the industry rep here as they get beat up all the time, but come on guys, you should have noticed by now there is a problem in your shipping department.  And I thank you for attempting to fix everything, but again, getting it right the first time, most of the time is far better than having to fix more than you should.
