I was tempted to order the 7075 receiver extension, but am afraid of receiving the 6061 extension.  How can I spot the difference between the two, or are they identical in appearance?

Thought about asking the same thing myself.  The same picture is used for both the 7075 and 6061.  And then there is the listing for the DSA tube.  And then there is the tube as pictured with the stock kit.

7075

6061

DSA with goldish buffer (Complete 6 Position Mil-Spec Diameter Buffer Tube Assembly)

Palmetto State Armory MOE Stock Kit with black PSA marked buffer

Some serious WTF going on here.

The only way to get a 7075 for sure is to order an LMT.

ETA:  Medic, please update your title to clarfiy this.  Maybe we can get a real answer.

The 7075 tube has a dry film coating on the inside.

So does the MOE Stock kit have the 7075?  It says it has a milspec buffer tube as apposed to the "milspec diameter " which would appear to be the 7075.

All of our build kits come standard with the mil-spec diameter 6061 tubes.
