as far as I know. the midlength madness one wont have the PSA marking though I hear. Many of us, including myself, received the PSA logo on our midlength madness upper. yes I know, but if you read the thread on this like a week ago, PSA said that they werent supposed to, but they just happened to have them in the first batch of shipments. |

The madness uppers are not supposed to have logos. Apparently some incorrectly shipped with a PSA marked upper. Customers who wanted an unmarked upper can exchange them for unmarked if they desire. This customer was happy with the surprise logo. So no need to exchange mine. |

Sorry to hijack but I have an "are these the same" question as well. Besides the CHF are these the same and is it worth the extra $90? One says "not pencil" but is the other.

One is not Cold hammer forged. To some it may not matter. I prefer it because I drive my gear pretty hard with less love. For $50 bucks it is worth it to me. I do not notice a function difference. Both are great barrels. Could you expand on "pretty hard with less love"? How much stronger we talking? |
| Retarded Strong..... I know that is not helpful. I am trying to push this product to the limits of its functionality along with other newer, slicker products. I run it to a failure point. Pardon the vagueness, but I want to do a total review of this product at a later date. So far, we are doing better than expected. Both the CHF and the non-CHF are performing better than expected. Very little difference in accuracy. |
