got my upper (yay!) the other day and finally got it onto my lower.
I'm going out to shoot it for the first time this weekend to zero the irons. I was practicing with my grip and what not and I noticed that, to my eye, the FSB seems to angle to the left a bit relative to the upper receiver flat top with my BUIS on it. If I eyeball the whole thing from the top, it sure enough looks like it might be off center from the top vent holes on my hand guard, too. So here are the questions (I'm not new to rifles, but I am new to ARs), is there a chance this will still fire straight? it might be a slight optical illusion or something, I suppose. Or is it likely pretty out of whack if I can tell without even zeroing it? Should I just contact PSA (since I'm sure it will take a long time to fix) and get started with that process? let me know if I wasn't clear enough on any details. thanks. |
