I placed two orders with you last week. One was for ammo on Thursday. On Friday, I ordered an upper and a whole ton of tools and AR spare parts. I know you say it takes up to 15 days to build the upper. When I placed the order, do you go ahead and pull all the other things I ordered at the time of the order and set them aside waiting on the upper to be finished, or do you pull it when you're going to ship the upper? I just don't want to find out some of my other stuff goes out of stock while you're building the upper, and I don't get what I've already paid for...
Thanks in advance for the answer. |

I know you probably won't be satisfied until PSA directly replies to you, but having worked in retail for a long time, I imagine they either do one of two things (or maybe a combo of both).
they probably have an "On Hand Quantity" in their system that won't let them sell below zero on an item. They might even have a "On Hold" number for parts waiting for orders to be compiled/shipped (like that MIAD grip has 0 sellable on hand, but 15 on hold qty waiting for orders to be pulled). OR they have a physical hold bay to put the product in. Maybe a combo of those two. Probably someone pulls the pieces for the armorer to build your upper when the order comes in, and then when it's complete someone takes the upper and adds any held items from stock to get your order to shipping. |
